Files stay on your device. Local OCR stays in the tab. We only receive a copy if you choose a server convert job. Lifetime is the core EPDF product: later core majors are included. It is not a promise of unlimited hosted or per-use services. There is no EPDF 2 or EPDF 3 repurchase for normal local PDF editor features. Hosted AI, substantial cloud storage, and high-volume server jobs may be sold separately.
