Lifetime means the core product.
£25 buys EPDF’s normal local PDF suite, including later core versions. It is not a promise of unlimited hosted services.
There is no later EPDF 2 or EPDF 3 repurchase for functionality that is genuinely part of the core editor: open, annotate, organise, overlay type, forms, local redact, and the other local tools in the suite.
Lifetime does not have to include generative AI usage, substantial cloud storage, hosted document sync, high-volume server OCR or convert, hosted e-sign request workflows, SMS, or identity verification. Those may be sold separately if they have a real per-use cost.
£1 a month always tracks the latest major while you pay. Cancel and you return to the free watermarked tier when the paid period ends. Past monthly payments are not credited toward £25.
An earlier draft of this page described lifetime as “this major only” with a six-month free-upgrade window. That is not the current offer.
