When accounts open
Sign-in will need a strictly necessary cookie or similar token so we know which licence you hold. Checkout will use whatever the payment processor requires to take money safely. Those are not 'we value your experience' cookies. They are required for the account.
Analytics and marketing
We have not switched on a marketing analytics suite. If we ever do, this page will name it, say what it measures, and give you a refusal that actually works. We will not bury that in a banner that says 'Accept all'.
How to refuse
You can block cookies in the browser. If you block the essential sign-in cookie, paid features that need an account will not run. The local file on your disk is still yours.
